Am I that transparent?
Templars are assassins that report to high ranking members of the Sabbat. Technically, the Templars are servants, but they can also be advisors and field commanders when needed. They also have the authority to refuse to follow orders from other vampires that are lower in the organization than their Lord. If they provide faithful and good service to their sire, then they have the right to ask a favor from their Lord.
