Admiral Karl Von Shrakenberg was an Earth Fleet officer with a long and storied career. He was the uncle of Erich Von Shrakenberg, and acted as his nephew's patron during his rise through the ranks of the service. He died aboard the EFS Hachiman during an unsuccessful attack on Resistance forces occupying Mars in 2243.
