Karl Von Shrakenberg during the 2nd Civil War
Admiral Karl Von Shrakenberg was an Earth Fleet officer with a long and storied career. He was the uncle of Erich Von Shrakenberg, and acted as his nephew's patron during his rise through the ranks of the service. He died during an unsuccessful attack on Resistance forces occupying Mars in 2243.
Behind the Scenes
Karl Von Shrakenberg is, like his nephew, named after one of the few sympathetic Draka characters in the Domination of the Draka series of novels by S.M. Stirling.
