An Arachnid Warship, based on Horadrim organic technology

Organic Technology is the use of genetically-engineered organisms to replace mechanical devices. Horadrim warships and most Arachnid devices are organic in function and construction.

Such devices are often not so much built as grown, as they are made up of one or more living creatures or parts thereof. Simpler organic devices may be assembled from components secreted by colonies of purpose-designed bacteria, or be grown as seed pods from genetically-engineered plants. Others may be entire insect-like animals designed to perform a simple set of functions. More complex ones may be made up of multiple components each secreted by or consisting of entire organisms.
