The Western Reserve is a united confederation of colonies created on former Bug worlds. They claim never to have declared independence from the Middle Kingdom, since they were never colonies of the Emperor. Therefore, they have a rather dubious political status which the Imperial Court has deliberately not commented on. They have very few ships, but a strong army, and are made up of all non-Asian pure humans. They believe that magick ability and werecreatures are stigmas and have weakened the human race. As a result, they deliberately ostracized all awakened from their communities.

Behind the Scenes[]
The reserve was created as a another quirky border state to have fun with in Season 8, but unfortunately, it was never revealed in gameplay. It was named after the Connecticut Western Reserve, a region that is currently in northeast Ohio.
